THE BENEFITS OF LEAVING A LEGACY

  • IT'S LASTING: You can support hungry Canadians into the future

  • IT'S FLEXIBLE: You can still make changes to your will at any time

  • IT DOES NOT HAVE TO AFFECT YOUR CHILDREN'S INHERITANCE: Because of Canada’s tax regulations, you can give money to a charity that you would otherwise give to Canada Revenue Agency in taxes - not the money you are leaving for your loved ones.

THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO LEAVE A GIFT FOR MAZON IN YOUR WILL:

 

  • Leave a specific dollar amount;

  • Leave a residual request by sharing the remainder of your estate after other payments have occurred;

  • Leave a contingent bequest by sharing a part of your estate after your other beneficiaries have passed.

HOW TO LEAVE A LEGACY GIFT

If you would like to leave a planned gift, the bequest must be included in your will using MAZON Canada's legal name and CRA number.

 

In conversation with your attorney, be sure to relay the following information as it must be included in your will:
